Jesse Whittle-Utter, LMFT
Jesse Whittle-Utter East Bay Therapy Hea

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an office located in  Berkeley, CA. I also offer services online. Please read below and check out my videos to get more of a sense of me.

My own healing journey and life experience as an artist, photographer, nature lover, traveler, student, therapy client, gay man, Buddhist practitioner, psychedelic journeyer and worker for social justice enable me to bring a breadth of understanding and wisdom to the lives of the people with whom I work. Below is a summary of my education and professional experience.

I support adults with neurodivergent traits in navigating trauma, emotion regulation, and relationship issues. I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in my sessions to process traumatic experiences, build practical mindfulness skills, and support self-compassion and a deeper understanding of yourself. I value psychoeducation and transparency in therapy. I take time to explain the framework behind our work so you can build both insight and attunement to your emotional and bodily experience, not just understand things intellectually.

Heather Kline, ASW
HK_Profile.jpg

Hello, I’m Heather, an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW). I work with adults, couples, families, and parents facing challenges that can feel overwhelming, isolating, or difficult to navigate alone. Many of the people I support are impacted by a loved one’s addiction or incarceration, caring for or advocating for a loved one with a disability or developmental difference, adjusting to the realities of neurodiversity within themselves, their relationships, or their families, or navigating significant life transitions, including perimenopause.

Hi, my name is Anahita.

If you're a young adult figuring out who you are, in your sense of self, your relationships, or your place in the world, I'd love to walk alongside you in that exploration.

If you're a professional quietly navigating burnout, people-pleasing, or the feeling that you've drifted from yourself, we can work together to reconnect you with what matters.

And if you're seeking to understand your patterns in relationships, how you give, receive, protect yourself, or long for connection, that work is welcome here too, whether you're partnered or not.

Wherever you are in your journey, whether you have a clear sense of what you're carrying or simply feel that something needs to shift, I'm here to help you find your way.

I offer both therapy and coaching, but the focus is always on the architecture of your internal world rather than just "talking it out."

  • Therapy (Inside-Out): We start with the story, but we don't stay there. We follow what the body holds - the patterns your nervous system has been running that insight alone hasn't touched - using EMDR, parts-based work (Ego State Therapy), and somatic inquiry. For those interested, I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

  • Coaching (Outside-In): This work is about translating internal clarity into how you move through the world, whether that is in leadership, a career transition, or a high-stakes decision that keeps not getting made.

Emma Goodfield, AMFT

Hi, I’m Emma, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area. I offer individual therapy for adults and teens, both in person and online.

I often work with clients navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and the impact of past or relational trauma. While I work with a diverse range of clients, I’ve found that my approach often aligns well with queer people and women.

My approach is rooted in a contextual and psychodynamic framework, exploring how personal struggles are shaped not only by early relationships and unconscious processes, but also by broader social, cultural, and systemic factors...

Perhaps everything that frightens us is, at its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love...when a sorrow rises up before you, greater than you have ever seen before; when a restlessness light and cloud shadows passes over your hands and over all your doing. You must think that something is happening upon you, that life has not forgotten you, that it holds you in its hand; it will not let you fall.
-Rainer Maria Rilke
